Destination Bedding

2.02.2009

I spent some time this weekend reading through some old issues of Blueprint... and came across this article. I am in the process of redoing our master bedroom and have a hard time committing. I plan on making an upholstered headboard- but can't decide on what fabric to use. My parents gave me two mercury glass lamps for my birthday (in December) and I just got shades for them this week!

And this is where the article got my attention... it said: "If you can't commit..." I think it said-Hey Brooke... this article is for you! I love all of the photos below and how easily they change the look of things with just a few accessories. I have all white/s in my room right now.... so I guess that's why it spoke to me:

I really like the white scheme above... and it will be easy to accomplish since I am already headed in that direction. And if I change my mind- it will be easy to add color in the future!

I'll post some photos when my project is complete!

I love the idea of all white too. Its a great way to start, and its super easy to layer and add color as you go along. Its also super easy to change stuff when you get sick of it too.

I like the white idea. It is so easy to change the look of a room with just accessories. Those three bedrooms look like they belong to three totally different people even though the base is the same.

I tend to use my dark colors as a neutral on the walls and then accessorize with white!

I'm also in the mist of a bedroom re-do and hopefully I'll be done soon.

Can't wait to see yours finished!

The bedding for me are neccesary all the time.I like to see a bedding different on my bed, because i think a new day should be seen enthusiastically and with a different image. We must to renew anything around us and our own energy too. And never neglect or sexual life too. that is really important to the couples around the world.

I love that image from Blueprint mag that I'm using it as my inspiration for our guest room/nursery. I blogged about it here: http://barnwoodurbanism.blogspot.com/2011/03/nursery-inspiration-part-2-color.html

Thanks for sharing!
