*interesting bit of info from the article: She thought that the white walls in the dining room might be too white. So she asked her builder to cover the walls in the same gray mortar that he’d used on the outdoor fireplace, giving the dining room the feeling of an outdoor space. What a clever idea- I would have never thought of something like that!.

Perfectly done. I love the pops of color. The lighting has me swooning. I think I will be back later to gander at this home some more:)
Have you been to South of Market? It is my favorite store EVER. Ever. It hurts me how much I am obsessed with everything in there. This house is amazing. I am going to have to study these pictures more. I was so excited when I read whose house it was!
She uses some crazy lighting fixtures in her designs, I'm loving them all!
LOVE the dining room!
Love the exterior...
the wood ceilings,
the light fixture
over the island,
the arched doors,
and the mix of orange
and brown with the white.
Lovely, lovely...
Love everything. The pops of yellow and white, the cool light fixtures, the outside!, the orange thrown in as well.
Love.
I must go to this store!
This is fantastic. She uses some really unique lighting. I love how most of the house is white, but she infuses it with pops of color.
oh wow, love those pops of yellow and orange and the island.
oh i love how the clean white and yellow are mixed with the rugged light fixture, and other wood elements!
Kay's house at Rosemary Beach is in Coastal Living this month (May issue). Sigh, I want both my fabulous houses published in the same month...
homes like this make me want to paint every surface in my house the same color and start over. so fabulous!
The color palette is killing me - she's using all of my favorites! The house is just dreamy.
I like the glass urn lamp.
