Beauty on the Beach

6.11.2009

With the warm weather and the current project I am working on- I have the beach (& beach houses) on the brain often. Loved this South Carolina one that was featured in the April 2008 issue of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles..

Fun pops of turquoise in many of the rooms- pulls it all together. Of course, I am drawn to the porch swing. I love them.

Where do you find these amazing houses- those stairs are stunning, I love the dining table and how it has two chairs on the ends...this house is amazing!

Is that really all the same house? It's hard to imagine all that fabulousness in one space. I love the kitchen (that rug!) and the porch swing. And, the room with the built-in bunk beds looks like so much fun!

I could spend hours, maybe days, on the porch with the bed swings. Not the mention the other fabulous things throughout the house! The staircase alone is a piece of art!

I'd like to be on those swings right now, looking out at the ocean.

Wow, those curtained built-in beds are sooo ADORABLE! And I would like to spend about an entire weekend on those porch swings ( I might get up every once in a while to refresh my mint julep) ;-)
Wow!

Love the house...not sure how I feel about that kitchen cabinet color. Beach houses are a good place to be a little risky, so points to whomever was adventurous to go for it. Rest of the house is beautiful!
