Today's house is one that I've always liked a lot... and I think that's because it is owned by someone my age. I love seeing houses that are owned by my peers as it sometimes makes things seem more attainable (does that make sense?). This house is located here in Birmingham and was published in the Fall 2008 issue of Decorating (A Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Publication). It's an issue that I've held onto because of this house and finally got around to scanning it in..And for those of you who live in Birmingham- Amy owns Suite Dreams in Mountain Brook Village. (update: thanks to Bungalow Home for letting me know that Amy sold Suite Dreams and is now a sales rep for a wonderful line of bed linens)

This is sooo cozy and I love the pops of pink and green! Love it!
I love her style! And it does have an "attainable" feel to it, I agree.
Love it, bring this today because I want to see it close up!
Awesome - very grown up but fun house!!! Thanks for the post it gave me some great ideas.
I want it! It is so difficult to gather things when you're young!
I would always run into Amy at Market in Atlanta. She has exquisite taste. She has sold Suite Dreams and is now a rep for a wonderful line of bed linens. Amy is such a talent and her home is a well-edited dream.

I see what you mean, eclectic for a younger generation that may aquire pieces from broader sources (some new, or from garage sales, parents, chic shops). I love the look. The bedroom is especially beautiful.
