Continuing Friday's post- here is the rest of Darryl Carter's D.C. townhouse. It's beautiful--- which all starts with this limestone facade.

Two comments today....1)I bet that dog doesn't really live in the house. They just let him be in the picture to make you think they were just your everyday "normal" people. Pretty sure that's the first time he's stepped foot in the house.
2)Two bathtubs? Why?

and I bet that dog does live in the house. Darryl is supposed to be pretty down-to-earth.
my fav is the shuttered windows with the roman shades...but, i really like every room.

When I saw these Elle Decor shots, it made me want to do a 180 on my home and spend all my money on gorgeous wood pieces! I love how light and airy his spaces feel! And I agree with Amy, lol, Daryl is quite easy on the eyes!

those shelves on the kitchen island are so interesting! neutral colors, but still such a comfy feel in the house
Why don't I like this? What does that say about my taste :)? It all just looks too...inaccessible...to me. And the bathroom was probably my favorite, but why two tubs? If you want to bathe with someone, don't you think you'd WANT to be in the SAME, tub not just the same room?
