I love looking in magazines and online at people's creative spaces. I love to see where people work and where they create. But where do so many people keep their stuff? It is busting at the seams in my little third bedroom/home office.

I think of myself as an organized person. But in my home office I have- sewing stuff (fabric, machines, ribbon, supplies, etc)... as well as cards and envelopes for my printing projects... plus many more 'creative' things. This brings me to my question- where do you keep your stuff?

Sadly, my stuff in in a giant box under the desk. Wish it were in color-coordinated binders on a gorgeous shelf...
ugh, mine is driving me nuts too!! i need a good clean up and clean out day!

I am the same way. I think I am neat and organized but if you saw my office on any given day you would think otherwise!
I have lots and lots of labeled boxes. They are stacked on each other, in bookcases, on shelves, in drawers and in closets. I keep finding myself buying more and more boxes to get organized and now its turning into one big box mess :)
I cant remember where I saw this, but on someone’s blog they had used one of those white shoe storage things for organizing. You know one of those large pieces with lots of slots/cubbies to put your shoes in. Well they just used it for stationary and other odds and ends and labeled all the cubbies. Just an idea, but I thought it was clever.
All of my creative "stuff" is in our basement in a guest closet. While it is nice to have it all in one organized spot, I think I would be more creative if I was able to see it on a daily basis. Loved the images!
I'm soooo with you on this one! Where is everyone's stuff? I always wonder that. I stack things in boxes, etc. but still, there's sooo many odds and ends that don't fit neatly into a box. Also, if you live in a shoebox of an apartment and you don't have a closet to put anything in...you are looking at things hiding every where..behind mirrors, behind chairs, you name it, it's hiding in my apartment.
hahaha i totally hide my office stuff in a closet when i take pics of it for my blog!!
but normally, my "stuff" is strewn all over my huge work table. I am lucky enough to have a big closet with shelving so everything does have a place to go to, but it's so rarely in there... I also keep some baskets around for quick organized "stashing" when ppl come over.

Our home office has been taken over by my husband who works from home. So my stuff is all over the place and I hate it. I am dreaming of a creative space!
I really don't have a defined creative space right now. I hate clutter and paper so I throw everything away and lately I haven't been crafty enough to need a big place to store it all. I did buy one of those large canvas boxes from Martha Stewart's collection at Michaels and I store my craft supplies there.
I've been working on my office for about 7 months now. Just found a huge bookcase that I'm painting. My desk is piled with files and magazines since I've gotten rid of the other pieces that I had. I can't wait to finish this bookcase!
Oh, these all make me drool. Ogling at workspaces fall only behind kitchen and mudrooms for me.
Love all the workspaces you showed- noticed lots of white, which just helps with the clean look. I try and try, but have papers strewn everywhere usually!!
