Loving the house of Kay Douglass (owner of South of the Market) in Atlanta. I really like the simple color palette of the whites, grays, and yellows. This is a great example of how a little bit of color can go a long way! .
*interesting bit of info from the article: She thought that the white walls in the dining room might be too white. So she asked her builder to cover the walls in the same gray mortar that he’d used on the outdoor fireplace, giving the dining room the feeling of an outdoor space. What a clever idea- I would have never thought of something like that!
Why am I drawn to the one dress that costs $378? Surely I could pick one out that was only $78? Don't worry- this one will not be joining the other dresses in my closet.Sugarlace Dress from Anthropologie
Loving this all white bathroom. It's a sneak peek into my post for tomorrow!
You may remember from this post last week where I mentioned that I was going to show more color on my blog. Well, here is a preview of what is to come. I am currently working on a condo in Perdido, Florida. I thought I would share a few photos that are inspiring my color palette. .
**Weekend update: Yard work, upholstered headboard, & dropcloth curtains are all complete. The only problem is that my camera is dead so I can't take photos until it is charged. Check back later this week for the photos!
Just a little look around my house... a few flowers & plants that always brighten my day. With the pretty weather on forecast for the weekend- the hubby and I are planning to get a lot of work accomplished in the yard! Speaking of work- also on the agenda for the weekend is my upholstered headboard and some curtains for the master bedroom... I hope to have a post next week showing you these things! .
