I have had these images saved on my computer ever since Anne Turner Carroll's kitchen redo was published in the last issue of Cottage Living. We all love a good before and after- and this one ranks high on my list of favorites. I know that we've all seen this kitchen on multiple blogs in the past year- but it's one that I never get tired of seeing.

Starting the renovation:
And the after photos. There are so many things I could say- but I'll let the photos speak for themselves:

every time I see this kitchen i cant help but fawn over it. so pretty.
So many thing in it that I'd like to incorporate into my kitchen (hopefully) redo.
That's amazing really. My favorite part is that beautiful wood counter - I would be spending all my time perched right there!
I remember seeing this awhile ago and loved it then, still love it. Such a difference and so creative. Thanks for sharing.
Holy kitchen renovation! I missed this and am SO very glad you posted these pics. That is one heck of a great reno!
I've seen this kitchen before and loved it - thanks for reminding me! I am loving the idea of moving the cabinets to the ceiling and adding a shelf...that may happen in my kitchen when I start the remodel =)

This is one I always go back to, love it!
her biggest change was painting! those are still not so great Home Depot cabinets. paint fixes everything...everybody with a woody colored kitchen should break out a paintbrush and follow Anne Turner's lead!
I was just thinking about this kitchen redo and was about to pull up the pictures to see it again! Thanks for reading my mind :)
When I first saw this renovation, I probably looked at the pictures every day for a solid week. I just love her kitchen!
I love this kitchen. It's almost exactly what I hope my kitchen will look like post reno.
I am so with you-- I don't tire of seeing that kitchen renovation either!
gorgeous!
So beautiful for a small kitchen!
LOVE the arched "window" the put in between the kitchen and dining area!! That detail makes such a difference!
Very well done! Love it. I don't know why contractor's don't always put cabinets at the ceiling. It really looks much better!
I love the the mushroom color of the cabinets and the wood stain made a big impact too!
I agree, I never tire of it. It's gorgeous. I wish our kitchen looked like this :)
Gosh, it is a really great one!
this makes me drool! it's been in my idea file forever!
