Sugarboo Art Prints

1.28.2010

*Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers for my dad's surgery. He seems to be doing well and I'm headed up to the hospital this morning to check on him.

Now- changing gears....I've been at a loss as how I should decorate Baby C's nursery. As most of you know- we are not finding out the sex so the nursery will be gender neutral.

I've gone in a million different directions when planning the nursery in my head and my thoughts always come back to this (remember this post?):
.
So, I've decide that it will be my starting point.

I'm not sure if you are familiar with Sugarboo Designs out of Georgia- they are a precious husband and wife team. Their site has so many creative items but favorite has to be the art prints which are framed in vintage recycled wood:
.
And as seen in an issue of Coastal Living:

I have that coastal living pic in my files too; love the color and folk art style of that dog pic.
Thanks for sharing the artwork,
Leslie

LOVE this post! I am familiar with their designs and they are sold at a local shop here in Texas. I think I might just want the "Sunshine" piece for my baby who will be 21 in May. I sang that to her all the time when she was younger. Thanks for the idea - pretty sweet whether for a child or an adult.

Those are wonderful - a great starting point for a nursery! Do you have a local retailer? I didn't see any prices on their site?

That was actually in my nursery inspiration board. I love it!

I love them but never realized they were in Georgia- yay!

Yes, I didn't see retail options either... but if you google Sugarboo you can find some or under their FAQ they have a phone number to call for local retail options.

"You are My Sunshine" is the bestseller in my shop. I can't keep any Sugarboo Art in. I have used Sunshine, Brown Boy Dog and Girl Dog all many children's room and nurserys--they are so fun and can grow with child. Great starting point!

Oh I love the first piece! I'm right there with ya on the gender neutral nursery. I thought it would be hard, but there is such cute stuff out there. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Hi. New here as well. So glad to hear your dad is doing well. My dad survived that ordeal several years ago, he is looking forward to celebrating his 81st birthday next week! As to the artwork, for a nursery, it is spot on!

Love them, we just used one for the McPhail's nursery, so cute. Let me know if you are going to get one, I may be able to "help".

I have my little boys nursery decorated with the dog picture from sugarboo. Ours has a brown dog on it though. It looks amazing and makes such an amazing statement on his little room. I also have a sugarboo shadow box above his crib. I just love sugarboo. Well worth the money. It is something that can grow with them.
I am more than willing to send pics if you would like....Good Luck!

I would agree that your choice from (the wonderful awesome team) Sugarboo is the perfect starting point for the nursery. It's one of those things that you could look at all day long and still smile. All of their items seem to have a way to do that.
I hope your dad continues to do well is on track for a speedy recovery. xo
