While the summer usually has me wanting to lighten and brighten things up around my house... I have really been liking black and darker shades lately. Of course, I like it best when used with white. Love the contrast of the light and dark.

I LOVE all these images! That one picture with the pendant hanging right over that sink....I have never seen anything like that. Always love the contrast....

I agree...NEVER get sick of black and white. Or white with an almost black blue, aubergine, green.

There is something very calming about B&W. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the exterrior of that house! And the kitchen with the Paris picture...beautiful, with a splash of red! Thanks for sharing!

Love. That fourth picture MIGHT be my fave interior shot of all time. I snapped a picture of that with my camera phone when I saw it in the mag for the first time. I was just in love and wanted to copy everything about that room.

I love black and white. It is a great combination that works well by itself or works well if you want to add a pop of color later. Thanks for the pics. Some of these are headed straight to my inspiration file :)
I love dark and light! I am doing dark cherry hardwood floors and cream cabinets in m,y new kitchen :)
