Junk Stores

7.27.2010

Last weekend I shopped around my hometown with my mom and aunt. We went to a couple of antique malls/flea markets/junk stores.
.
I found this campaign dresser while we were shopping. I bought it.
.Although I don't know why. I guess because it was so cheap and I love a good before and after. These images below are inspiring my makeover. I might use it in my home office or give it to my mom to use in her house (which we are in the process of updating).

LOVE it!

Have you found anything at your local junk stores lately?

Okay, I know you are a neutral girl...but do consider painting it a shocking color! That kelly green in that first image is sooo beautiful. What a find.

So lucky! I would kill to find campaign anything. Even on eBay, the prices are ridiculous.

I have an old one in my basement that needs a lot of work, but I'd love to paint it out like the green one you showed here.

Oh, that's right...this subconsciously was probably my inspiration for buying a cheap dresser and redoing it in the first place. I love that green dresser. It's so BOLD. I can't wait to see the after. Here's my before: http://ahouseandhome.blogspot.com/2010/08/dresser-distress.html
