Vintage Laundry Cart

7.12.2010

I was recently in my favorite shop in my hometown (Plant the Earth) and saw one of these vintage laundry carts. I asked Liz if it was for sale- and of course it was not!
.
After looking around online I found one on Etsy in this shop. I was so excited to receive it in the mail today. I immediately set it up in the corner of Collins' room.
.
*you can see the rest of his nursery here.
.

I am going to use it to hold Collins' toys, etc. And I want to make a liner for it out of one of these fabrics from Hawthorne Threads:
..

*I've seen both in person and they aren't quite as bright as they appear in these photos.
.
And since it's been awhile since I've posted a photo- I had to slip one in of this little boy that melts my heart!

I saw a basket just like that at Scott's in Atlanta this weekend. I wish I would have snatched it up right away instead of watching another customer wheeling it away!

I love this idea! It would be the perfect stuffed animal bin. I could totally see it in the corner of the family room too to wrangle toys that always make their way out of the rooms. Did you happen to find multiples? I think I need one now!

Oh, and your little one is so stinkin' cute!

Hi,
