That was my thought when I first found out that it has been mass produced. I scoured the internet looking for a vintage laundry cart as you may remember from this post last week. I found one on Etsy and was so excited to receive it and put it in the nursery. I LOVE it.
.
But I've had several of you email to ask if I had seen any more and where you might could find one.
.Ashley emailed to let me know that Pottery Barn now has them.... and I thought to myself- of course they do. So here it is if you are interested (but I still support the idea of buying from an Etsy seller or local store if you can find it there).... but if you have to have one- Pottery Barn has it.
Their price is $129 (and one plus is that it comes with the liner). Go here.

$129? Hummm, that's a little pricey.
Isn't that crazy luck?! But yours is still fabulous!! I'm an Etsy fan!
Thanks for sharing I love this.
Yours is so cute and it's "real". This post reminds me of that episode of Friends where Phoebe gets mad at Rachel for shopping at Pottery Barn! :)
Saw it in the catalog last night...still would rather buy from Etsy but I guess if you are in a pinch!
Doesn't it just irk you sometimes when PB starts caring something you have been searching for and loving for so long...oh well. It is adorable and anything to make laundry look more appealing in my books is a good thing.
dirty laundry has never looked quite so good!
this is a really great piece- yes, finding out PB is mass producing it is kind of a bummer... but on the upside... that means all of us get one too, so thanks for letting us know! ha!
I think this would be great in a "game" room or media space to hold extra pillows or throws as well!
rats! they always steal the good stuff. the good news is that long after PB says they are "out" you will still love yours!
haha! isnt that always the way.
it just goes to show what a trendsetter you are! ;)
Yeah, but isn't it fun to have found it through searching ebay? I always feel far more triumphant when I do it that way! XO!
Isn't that always the case. Either way, it is a fabulous piece! I saw one in a store last week used as a light. It was interesting.
What is that about? I think things we love just get in the water. I mean, like my son's name "Liam"...I thought it was so unusual in 2006, then it is everywhere. And I may find something I think is so rare for our home, then it is in next month's RH. Maybe we're all on the same wavelength!
I got mine at an antique shop eons ago and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Is it bad that I'm bummed PB has it now?
Of course!
That's a great laundry cart...great find! Laundry is a necessity after all. I secretly wish for one of those great cupboard shutes the Brady's had.
Best,
Michelle
Thanks for mentioning me in the post-- even if it was "bad" news!
