I just went into a friends home (still under construction) to help her pick out paint colors for the mirror frames JT is building and she had these neat little shelves nestled in like this and I thought it was a wonderful idea, too!
i would love a play date! and i'm totally drooling over these shelves. go figure. i have a thing for shelves these days. too bad my kitchen isn't that cool....but an entire kitchen renovation may be in order JUST for the shelves! ha!
Thank you. Too true. I'm looking for ginger last night to put in your pumpkin bread thinking there's go to be a better way than standing on my barstool, shifting over turned spices from one side of the cabinet to the other!
I am incorporating towers that will flank the cook-top in the next home, I am tossed up between the interior side shelving like you showed or pull outs from the front. Know me I will go for the pull outs, I am not sure I can keep everything as organized as I would like and it would end up being just another area I would try to 'stage'.
This is such a great and useful idea for the avid chef in the family. I came across your post this afternoon while browsing interior design blogs and the topic of window treatment selection was very interesting to me. How can you incorporate window treatments into your kitchen decor? It is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty. Thank you for writing and as a special thanks to you and your readers, I would like to offer a 20% off coupon using this code upon checkout: BLG20.
That is such a great idea! I am definatly going to consider working that into the next kitchen I design! Smart and looks fun and eclectic if you have classy spice bottles:)

Yes, so practical...but when we wanted this for the remodel it was super expensive, so maybe for next house ?!

Would you believe that I have hidden shelves that slide out on either side of my range? So handy!
Love the clean layout!
LOVE this idea. It keeps everything close at hand but doesn't clutter up the sides of the cook top. Great idea for my next house!!
