{diy} paper wall art

4.06.2011

I saw this on Elements of Style last week and loved the idea. The inspiration below came from West Elm:

You could pick up an Ikea Ribba Frame, some matte board cut to the frame size in your color of choice, and one of these beautiful papers below:

Amate Weave Paper, Marble

Amate Bark Paper from Mexico- Marble Lace 15.5x23.5 Inch Sheet

Handmade Paper Sheet, Open Circle White

... all for about $30 for each completed piece. Has anyone tried this? I'd love to see photos!

The last one reminds me of an Amanda Talley painting. Love the idea!

What stunning papers, I think I have the perfect spot for something like this in the new home.

I saw this the other day of EoS! Great, easy project! I've been haunting papermojo.com until I decide on some!

Hi there, I'm new to your blog! I did paper in my dining room, here: http://loveyourspace.blogspot.com/2011/03/12-dining-room-art-plus-frames.html
And suggested some other possibilities, here:
