You have to have an invite to join or request one. Let me know if you'd like one (just leave your email address in the comment section).
You can set up 'boards' and get everything organized to your liking. Here are a few of mine:

And one suggestion that I would have (that would help out everyone): When looking around online and you come across something you want to pin--- go to the original source and pin from there.

I love the idea, buy am not sure if I can handle one more time drain. For now, I just save photos to an album in iphoto called "Inspiration." I've been pinned a few times, but am scared to start pinning myself...scared of yet another online addiction. :)
