It's hard to move forward when you keep moving back. This is reality of a home renovation!
But there are some pretty things to look at. Part of the new stair rail has gone up... meaning we are making progress. Now that this is up we can officially live upstairs!

oh my, that first image just scared me a bit.
Oh no! is that a water pipe trench? I like the railing, very simple and clean. Just my style.
Looooove the railing Brooke! And you know, it can't all be easy, things like the first image will make you appreciate the new home so much more. xo

Yay! Looking so good! Excited to see the rest...
goodness! ...but I love that rail!
I know there is a very good reason for the big hole. Guessing you are moving things around in your kitchen and need to prep for it. I simply can't wait to see the results. You have a fantastic eye, so I know it's going to be a show stopper when your done!! Very exciting. M.
Oh my gosh, the canyon in your house...! Glad to hear you are making progress elsewhere. You have a great attitude about the realities of renovations!
At least the railing looks great!! Happy Friday ~
Hate to say it but I so don't envy you. Coming off the heels of having been building for 3 and a half years, (in the home stretch AT LAST) hoping to move in about a month! It was great and exciting the first two years, the novelty kind of wore off after that. Wishing you a speedy, timely uneventful process! It is very exciting, but requires a lot of patience and the more organized you are the more it will move on along. So happy to have found you though. Started my own blog to document our house building about 7 months ago...stop by and say hi and also doing a great giveaway today!!

I'm with Sarah - Would love to know where you found that railing! Thanks!
