a fun giveaway... downtown tape

11.11.2012

The sweet folks at Downtown Tape contacted me about doing a giveaway for my blog readers.... and I couldn't say no. I love washi tape and they have so many great colors/patterns to choose from! What a great giveway just in time for the holidays.

Here are a few of my favorites:

While looking around on their Facebook page (they'd appreciate it if you 'liked' it!) I came across this idea that I loved:
Cover Photo

They are offering one reader 10 rolls of washi tape! Sign up for their newsletter for a free set of downloadable tags. In order to be eligible for the washi tape... just leave a comment with your email address and let me know how you plan to use the tape. Giveway will close at midnight on Tuesday, November 13th. Good luck!

I promise to be back with some house/design posts!

Fun giveaway! I would use the tape definitely for wrapping gifts for the holidays or using them as faux frames (borders around pictures).

What a generous offer! I would use the tape for a combo of wrapping gifts and making my own Christmas cards - and I'm sure I'll find other uses too!

I have been thinking using about washi tape for a while now.... I would use the tape to frame out the pictures hanging above my sofa, as if it were wood trim detail. And if I had any extra, definitely use if for Christmas wrapping!

I really like the polka dots and also the solid minty green, so pretty! Would love to try it on a lampshade or to dress up a plain notebook. Of course my packages would look a lot nicer thanks to this tape as well!

I've been dying to try my hand at a DIY roller blind project. I'd bling up a boring white roller blind with some of this tape for my boys' room (I'm thinking Greek key pattern around the outside).

What a fun giveaway! I've never used washi tape before and would love to explore the many ideas I've seen on Pinterest and the ideas on their website. I was thinking about using it around some clear plastic beverage cups for a party. mwosteen@gmail.com

Washi Tape is great for mailart! That's what I'd use it for :) As well as wrapping packages and gifts for christmas. Over here in Europe it's not that easy to find though, which is sad. caddipenpal@yahoo.de
