Several of you have emailed to say that you are patiently waiting to see photos of my house. I'll preface by saying that the house is unfinished (will it ever be finished?) and these photos are with my iphone.
Today I'll show you the formal living room. When you walked into the front foyer of the house you had the dining room on your left and the formal living room on your right. We made the dining room part of the kitchen (on the left) so on the right we decided to divide the formal living room in half and make it into a small dining room and an office for Michael. You'll see a faux fireplace in the before photos and the wall went up based off the center of it.

Dining room is now on left side:

From foyer you can see opening to Michael's office (on the right side of existing formal living room):

Beautiful! Love the ceiling and the office color. You've done a fantastic job!!
Great job Brooke! I love the contrast of the two rooms; they really compliment each other. And as always, it makes me want to redo, or at least repaint, my entire house. If only I could afford to do so. You'll be my first call when I win the lottery!
Its gorgeous brooke! Of course I knew it would be.
beautiful! love the ceiling & fixture in dining room & the dark moody color & gallery wall in office! so sleek!!
beautiful use of space! We just put an offer on a house like an hour ago that has that same giant wasteland of a formal living room. I'm totally thinking about how we could reinvent it now into two more useful spaces. Pinning this for reference!
And love your skirted round table for a dining room and those gorgeous chairs. I'm thinking about doing the same thing!

Brooke. You are being far too modest about your progress! It looks great!

Beautiful. Would love to see more of your foyer. Please share.
Everything is presentable though, just have to increase the lighting before these pictures were taken to show more the details of furniture,
Interior Glass Doors and wall color shades.
